Mr Peter Dawson was the loader of a concert parly visiting n local training depot on Monday evening. Other members of the party were lan Kerr (pianist), lan Macdonald ((xylophone), Paul Reno (ventriloquist), Edna Jenkins and • Thelma Simon (tap duos). The Sinnerly sisters sang duets, as did Mr and Mrs Dawson, while songs were rendered by Noelcne Moodv, Nana Newey, and Billie Mason. Fay Heasley gave several whistling items. The blind pianist, Julian Lee, accompanied most of the numbers, and concluded the programme with a demonstration •of Braille typing. Padre J. H. Harris expressed Ihe thanks of officers and men for an enjoyable evening's entertainment.
