Claimed to be one of the most thrilling of the “ Saint ” films, 1 The Saint Meets the Tiger,’ witli Hugh Sinclair in the title
role, will be released at the Octagon tomorrow. A battle to the death between a criminal gang and the Saint for possession of stolen gold bullion provides the theme on which the story is based. Chosen to play the Saint, Hugh Sinclair again proves his claim to be ranked among Britain’s leading ,stars. ■ Jean Gillie, starring with Sinclair, likewise offers a grand characterisation, while Wylie Watson, as the Saint’s Cockney manservant, is responsible for many fine comedy sequences. Gordon McLeod as a Scotland Yard inspector. Clifford Evans as a gang leader, and Dennis Arundell, Charles Yictor, and Eric Clavering as three of the Tiger’s henchmen, form tlie nucleus of the outstanding supporting cast in the film.
