ADMIRAL D'ARGENLIEU TO PATRIOTIC FUND (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 5, A cheque for £SO has been received by Air Sullivan from Air de la Tribouille, delegate in New Zealand of the French National Committee, London. Tho cheque represents a personal gift to the New Zealand Patriotic Fund from Rear-Admiral G. Theirry d’Argenlieu, High Commissioner for Fighting France. Air Sullivan, in a letter to AI. de la Tribouillo .acknowledging the gift, says: “ Will you please assure Admiral d'Argenlicu how very much I and my colleagues appreciate hi's very generous act, As you know, his visit to New Zealand was an occasion of particular pleasure to us, affording as it did the opportunity for no to emphasise our support of tho cause of. Fighting France. I assure you his considerate and generous act will be fully appreciated by all Now Zealanders.”
