Yesterday afternoon the following appeals were dealt with by the No. 2 Armed Forces Appeal Board—Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S. and Messrs J. Price and H. Hodgson: A. and T. Burt Ltd. for G. T, Anderson, T. R. Buttar for W. J. Buttar, farm manager; A. C. Leary for 0. R. I. Brydie, rabhiter; Primary Production Council for K. Miller, seed cleaner (all adjourned sine die); W. Dryden (leave from camp to November 30); Provident Life Insurance Co. Ltd. for A. C. Marshall, clerk (released for one month); Otago and Southland Pig Council for N. MacDonald, supervisor; S. Wilson for J. S. Wilson, vegetable grower; and Mrs M. O’Brien for J. M. O. Burgess, barman (all dismissed) ; Mrs M. MacDonald for H. MacDonald (release for two months). During the sitting of the board the Crown was represented by Mr A. H. Haggitt.
