SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP
The New Zealand roller skating championships, with competitors from all parts of the Dominion, commenced to-day at the De Luxe Rink. The junior championships are being continued to-night, and conclude to-merrow afternoon, and the senior events will be decided 10-inorrow night and on Saturday afternoon and evening, when the finals will bo decided. The usual skating programmes are being presented, the championship events being hold in conjunction with them. Box plan arrangements for reserved seats are advertised. The championships are conducted under the auspices c-f the New Zealand Roller Skating Association (Inc ).
