‘A YANK IN THE R.A.F.'
The first story of Britain’s lighting R.A.F., ‘ A Tank in the R.A.F.,’ will be screened at the Octagon Theatre to-mor-row. Featuring Tyrone Power as an American pilot and Betty Grablc as his sweetheart, the film depicts the life of Britain's men of the‘skies, as they live and love on the land, and perform deeds of heroism in the air. Power, an American aviator in Britain, becomes bored with the instructions he must take and the routine of his duties. He does not get along well with his fellow pilots or his commanding officer, played by John Sutton, and his romanc with Betty Grable receives a setback when Sutton proposes (o her. Many exciting events of the war, including flights over Germany, the evacuation of Dunkirk, and forced landings in enemy territory, are incorporated in the film Although this is Miss Grable’s most dramatic role to dale, she sings two numbers specially written for her. They are ‘ Hi-Ya Love ’ and ‘ Another Little Dream Won't Do Us Any Harm.’
