COMMUNITY SING

Proceeds from the community sing in the Strand Theatre to-morrow will again he devoted to the Prisoners-of-war Weekly Parcels Fund, towards which a well-wisher forwarded during the week a cheque for £lO. Further contributions are invited from iistners-in, and all amounts given will be acknowledged by (he secretary, Mr J. F. Hamburg, care of Messrs Charles Begg and Co Ltd The special attraction at the sinw will he the first appearance of the ladles’ choir from Messrs Reckitt and Colman (N.Z.) Ltd. Community singing will be conducted by Mr H. P. Desmoulins, with Mr A. Pettilt at the piano. Donations of goods for the stall may be left with tho secretary.
