ROSYLN LAWN TENNIS CLUB
At the annual meeting of the Roslya Lawn Tennis Club MV T. Grimsdale presided. In moving the adoption of tho re. port and balance sheet, Mr Grimsdale commented on the club’s financial position in view of the fact' that 30 of the club’s members were sewing with the armed fcrces at home and abroad. He congratulated the members ' f tho mixed A grade, B grade, and ladies* B grade teams on their successes ill the interclub competitions, also the members of the club on their successes at the Easter tournament. The election of officers resulted President. Mr R. G. Sincock; vice-presidents— Miss R. Burton, Messrs A. C. McGeorge. G. I. Black, J. L. Gregory: lion, secretary and treasurer, Miss D. Rackley; immediate past-president, Mr C. Sonntag: committee —Mrs J. Borthwick, Miss R. Sonntag, Mes'srs R. Crawford, S. Dickens, L. Jaccson; club captain, Mr W. Gorton; non. auditor, Mr N. Mollison; delegates to 0.L.T.A., Messrs G. I, Black and T. Grimsdale. ■ , , „ , , Opening day was fixed for Saturday, September 19. '
