BOMBS ON BRISTOL
TWO GERMAN PLANES OVER (British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 9.30 a.m.) RUGBY, Aug. 28. This morning two enemy aircraft dropped bombs at Bristol. There were a number of casualties, including some that were fatal. Some damage was done. A Me. 109 was shot down by our fighters into the sea off the southwest coast of England this morning.
