ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
SUDDEN COLLAPSE. Mrs Crichton Monerieff Robertson, aged 40, who resided in Maryhill Terrace, Mornington, died at her resident# on Thursday night, after a sudden collapse. ' Acting as coroner, Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M., opened an inquest yesterday. It was adjourned sine die after evidence of identification had been taken. BROKEN ARM. A boy named Russell Dunn, residing at 94 Sidey street, sustained a broken arm yesterday, the result of a fall from a horse. He was admitted to the Ho a* pital at 8 o’clock last night. HOCKEY PLAYER KILLED. Overtaken and struck by a motor car as she was about to cross a bridge at Gisborne last evening, Miss Isabel Dalglish Miller (23) was killed instantaneously, Deceased waa a well-kaown hockey player, and had represented Poverty Bay for several years. The sequel to the accident was heard in the Magistrate’s Court this morning, when Thomas George Atchison (34), a storekeeper, was charged with negligent driving, causing death, and remanded until Wednesday.—Press A«» sociation.
