PINE HILL TENNIS CLUB

The annual meeting of the Pine Hill Lawn Tennis Club was held in the school, when Mr A. E. Dawson presided over a fair attendance of members. Moving the adoption of tho report, the Chairman spoke of the satisfactory working of the club during tho past season, and expressed the hope that, in spite of the dearth of male members, the players would be able to enjoy good tennis during the ensuing season. The election of officers resulted as follows: Patron, Mr D. L. Ritchie; president, Mr H. H. Gilligan; vice-presidents—Messrs W. Jones, A. C. Notman, and A. E. Dawson, and Mrs Bush; club captain, Mrs Gilligan; auditor, Mr A. E. Dawson; secretary, Miss Rica Thomas; treasurer, Mrs Smith; committee —Mesdames H. J. Gray and W. Rogers, Miss Buchanan, Messrs A. W. Knapp, W. Buchanan, and B. N. Taylor.
