POLICE COURT
FRIDAY, AUGUST 28. (Before Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M.) William Gordon Bennett, for casting offensive matter in a public place, was lined £2 and costs. Robert Moore, unlawfully on licensed premises, was fined 20s. For parking a motor ear on the off side of a stationary vehicle, Maurice Collins was convicted and ordered to pay costs, 10s. Lilian Mildred Grace was convicted and discharged for permitting a chimney to catch lire. Similarly charged, Mary Beatrice Wood was fined 5s and costa. Kenneth Sydney Low was fined £2 10s and costs 12s for driving without a license. He was convicted and discharged on charges of having no warrant of fitness and for having a car without the correct number plates attached, "James Stewart Young was fined Ss and costs for riding an unlighted bicycle. For failing to produce a warrant of fitness. Samuel Keene was fined 5s and costs.
