ARRIVAL IN AMERICA
MR PETER FRASER VISITING WASHINGTON (British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 10.25 a.m.) RUGBY, August 25. It is announced from White House, according to a Washington message, that Mr Peter Fraser has arrived on a visit to the United States at the invitation of President Roosevelt. Mr Stephen Early, the President’s secretary, said that Mr Fraser reached the Pacific coast today and would proceed to Washington to be received by the President. Mr Early said he assumed that Mr Fraser would attend the Pacific War Council during his visit, but no details of his programme have yet been announced.
