OBITUARY
MISS F. J. LILLY Hiss Frances Julia Lilly, who died recently in Christchurch at the age or 76, led’a life of quiet usefulness till within a few weeks of her death. She wag born in Gloucester, England, and spent three years of her early life in Washington, United States, before coming to New Zealand with her parents in the ship Lady Jocelyn. Fop many years she was known in Dunedin as a singer, and was well known foij her practical interest in church music* She lived for many years in Christchurch, and was much loved by her large number of friends. She is survived by one sister and three brothers#
