FRIDAY'S COMMUNITY SING
This week’s sing will be a special appeal for parcels for prisoners of war. Every week every prisoner gets a parcel costing £l. Children attending the sing can <fi> (heir bit by bringing their, pennies. The special attraction will be the appearance of Miss Ngaire Maxwell; also Rex Anderson" and Trevor Clark, members of the Christchurch Centennial Harmonica Band, who will be beard playing duets on the piano-accordion and piano. Mr A. Bidgoocl will bo heard on the organ. The, sing will bo held in the Empire Theatre, commencing at nomi.
