MENINGITIS
FIFTY CASES AND SUSPECTS Hi DOMINION (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 24. Gases of cerebro-spinal meningitis are still occurring in New Zealand at a fairly lugh rate. For the week ended August 17 there were 50 cases in the Dominion, with eight deaths. This total included seven cases in Wellington with two deaths and 11 cases in Auckland with three deaths. In the previous week there wore 59 cases in the Dominion with two deaths.
The cases quoted in all instances include suspects not definitely confirmed.
