DOMINION HIDES FOR BOOTS SYDNEY, Aug. 24. The Minister of Supply, Mr J. A. Beaslcv; commenting on imports of cheese from New Zealand, said one Victorian firm had been given permission to import a small quantity of matured cheese to mix with local cheese. Cheesa was not the. only item imported from New Zealand, as hides had been coming for months. Boots made in Australian factories from hides from New Zealand were now being worn by the troops in Australia, India., Syria, and the Middle East.
