WEIGHT LIFTING
At the annual meeting of the Otago Weight Lifters-- Association the following office-bearers were elected: —President, Mr E. C. Treweek; vice-presidents, Messrs L. Green, D. C. Bannatyne, P. Massetti, and H. Baldock; hon. auditor, Mr W. Hall Masters; Executive Committee —Messrs D. F. Farquharson, J. Beveridge, A. Thomson. W. Gillanders, J. Brown, J. Rogers, N. Clarke, and G. Tate; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr D. Freeman; delegates to Otago Provincial Council of Sport, Messrs D. Farquharson and D. Freeman. The annual meeting of the Otago Weight Lifters’. Club was also held this week, the following office-bearers being elected: — Mr S. Cadogan; vicepatron. Mr L. Green: president, Mr D. C. Bannatyne; vice-presidents, Messrs G. J. Smith, A. C. Haynes, P. A. H. Thomson. F Massetti. Smith, and W. G. Elliott; hon. auditor, Mr F. S. Mueller; hon. medical officers, Ur G. Barnett and Dr R. F. Allan; hon. secretary and treasurer. Mr b. Freeman; Social Committee. Mes-rs J. Beveridge and J. Rogers: Competitions Committee— Messrs D. Farquharson and U. Freeman ; F.xecutive Committee—Messrs J. Beveridge, D. Farquharson. W.
