MOSGIEL COURT
The following cases were dealt with at the Mosgie! Court yesterday before Mr H. J. Dixon, S.M. A fine of 5s and costs (10s) was inflicted on* Charles A. Brough and Murray McDonald for riding bicycles at night without lights. William Alfred Ives was convicted and ordered to pay. costs (10s) for driving a motor vehicle in Gordon road, Mosgiel, so loaded as .likely to cause injury to any Pe john Frederick Hammerley proceeded against Thomas Charles Sproule (Mr B. st Irwin) on a charge of posting a postal packet having thereon on its cover words of an offensive character.—After evidence the magistrate dismissed the case. ' Judgment (with costs) by default was eiven °for plaintiffs in the following oases: —Leonard G Mitchell v. T. Aldridge, £1 17s lid; Leask and Walker v. Ernest Mitchell* £2 8s sd; John Harvey v. Norman W. Davis. £6 18s fid.
