NAVY DAY .Friday at the Strand Theatre will he another day for the Navy Queen (Mis* Jessie M’Lemian), the proceeds being given to her fund. A special programme of new and old favourites is being arranged, which will include two new numbers, ‘ There'* a Boy Coining Home on Leave’ and‘‘Somewhere in England.’ A lady’s rolled-gold expanding wristlet watch and a pure-bredf bulldog about four years old will be sold* Mr H. P. Desmoulins will be the leader, with Mr A!f. Pettitt at the piano. Donations and chcerios should be sent to Mr J. F. Himburg, care of Begg’s, and they will be broadcast by 4YA between noon and 1 p.m. and from then on by 4YO. Mr* MTntyre, who has charge of the stall, will bo pleased to receive flowers. Miss Blanch* Errmgton (contralto) will be heard I* vocal numbers.
