SCOTTISH BATTALION

* NEW COMPANIES BEING FORMED A new Scottish Battalion to take the place of the existing company is being formed in Dunedin, The personnel will be recruited from men who have been balloted, and their dress will be ordinary Territorial uniform, although there is a possibility that they may be issued with Glengarry caps. The battalion headquarters company •and two rifle companies will be established in Dunedin, but the support company will be established in Christchurch, being the Scottish Company already there. The third rifle company, which will complete the battalion, will be established in Invercargill.
