PATRIOTIC ADDRESS
With a view to stimulating the patriotic interest of the community ami quickening a realisation of the seriousness of the position facing the Empire, the Otago Provincial Patriotic Council has- made arrangements with Mr F. Milner, rector of Waitaki Boys’ High School, to give a public address in the Town Hail next Tuesday. The subject will be ‘ The Challenge of Nazidom to Our Empire.’ Mr Milner is known as a forceful and inspiring speaker, who is in every way fitted to deal with the subject in a capable manner. Prior to the address appropriate selections will be played by the Kaikorai Band, and during the evening solos wili.be contributed by Miss Bertha flawlinson and Mr Arthur Macdonald.
