Y.M.C.A.
MILITARY GAMP SERVICES Following the usual custom throughout New Zealand, the Y.M.C.A. will commence free Sunday teas for soldiers this week. Community singing and musical items will also be provided. The association is providing free hot showers and billiards for the men. At Wingatui and Forbury, full social and buffet service is being rendered by the Y.M C.A . hundreds of cups of tea and cocoa being served every day. A standing order of 60 dozen small cakes, in addition to block cake and biscuits is arranged for. Each evening groups of ladies from the Y.M.C.A. Ladies’ Auxiliary beln the secretary in charge of this service. The association is also arranging a dormitory whore men may procure bod and breakfast for the sum of 3s Within the next twdf weeks the Y.M.C.A. will also enter Taieri Aerodrome, controlling the post office and social services.
