ACCUSED DEMANDED [Per United Press Association.] A UCKLAND. October 7. Appearing on remand in the Police Court, Charles Harold Longley, aged 39, was charged that, on September t-, at Manunui. near Taumarunui he murdered Jeremiah O’Sullivan. Detective-sergeant Nalder said the accused had been previously remanded to appear at Taumarunui to-day. but his legal advisers had requested that he should be remanded at_ Auckland for another week, after which arrangements would be made for his remand to Taumarunui. The accused wms remanded until October 14.
