MR GANDHI'S VIEWS

Mr Gandhi, in a statement, said the Viceroy at an interview was all courtesy, but unbending. He believed in tho correctness of his judgment, and again showed no faith in Nationalist India. The British were showing extraordinary bravery on the battlefield, but lacked tho courage to take risk? in the moral sphere. “I often wonder,” he said, “whether tho latter has any place in India.”
