“ARMY OF FREE SPAIN”
AID FOR BRITAIN URGED NEW YORK, October 4. (Received October 5, at 8 a.m.) General Jose Ascnsio, a former War Minister of Republican Spain, urged the formation of an “ Army of Free Spain ” to join Britain and fight Nazism and Fascism, and re-establish the Spanish Republic. He urged the American Republics to unite against the “ fifth column.
