WEDDINGS

CARROL—CURTIS. The marriage took place at St. Joseph’s Cathedral, on Saturday, September 28, betwen Edna Winifred, younger daughter of Mrs P. W. Curtis and the late Mr Curtis, and Ridmond Moreau, second son of Mr and Mrs John Carroll. The Rev. Father Gavin was the officiating clergyman and Miss L. Comer presided at the organ. The bride, escorted by her brother-in-law, Mr E. S. Jeavous, made a charming picture in a model frock of pacific blue silk romaine, with navy accessories and she carried a posy of spring flowers. The matron-of-honour, Mrs John Dick, wore a becoming frock of gre/ panama cloth with navy accessories and carried a posy of pink hyacinths and carnations. The bridcSi was attended by Mr J. K. , as best man, Mr Chas. Carroll acting as usher. At the reception, held later in the Vedic Lounge, the guests were received by Sirs P. W. Curtis assisted by Mrs J. Carroll.
