MORNINGTON TRANSPORT CRICKET CLUB
The report which was placed before the annual meeting of the Mornington Transport Cricket Club disclosed a very satisfactory state of affairs. Of the 18 matches played last'season only four were lost, and all the challenge trophies were retained with the exception of one. The financial position was stated to be good, and the hope was expressed that, whatever difficulties might be encountered during the forthcoming season, the club would be able to carry on. Mr A. Webster presided over the meeting, and moved the adoption of the report, the motion being carried. The following office-bearers were elected: President, Mr A. Webster; vice-presidents—Messrs G. A. Wycherley, W. J. C. Wilson, W, G. Pickard, C. Foley, H. Poulter, H. Weir, J. Jenson, A. Coombs, H. M'Callum; captain, Mr J. H. Otway; vice-captain, Mr H. Parsons; committee—Messrs H. Wyatt, A. M'Dermott, H. Parsons, A. C. Stiglish, J. Fraser, J. Mattingley, and J. H. Otway; secretary and treasurer, Mr R. A. Otway; Match Committee—Messrs Webster. R. Otway, and J. Hollander; Selection Committee —Messrs J. H. Otway, A. Webster, and R. Otway.
