TAIERI AND PENINSULA CRICKET CLUB
The annual report of the above club states that last season was a very successful one from every point of view. The team won the A section of the Otago Crick«t League byS points. Jhe
club has again entered the team in the A section of the Otago Cricket League, and another successful season is anticipated. Some members have already enlisted. The following officers have been elected for the coming season:—Patron, Mr A. H. Templeton; president, Miss V Rhodes; vice-presi-dents—Messrs A. J. Gall, John Newlands, W. Robertson, E. Y. Aitken, A. P. Fleming (directors of the company), A. Kettle, Goo. Over, J. Hay, J. Pellew, J. M'Knight, H. Hill, IR. H. Gordon, H. E. Gordon, W. Taylor, J. Malcolm, R. Holden, and T. Randle; club captain, H. Humphrey; secretary and treasurer, A. Hanford; assistant secretary, F. Thompson; Social Committee—Messrs I. Davidson. J. Malcolm. and H. E. Gordon. The .sfcason will open at the Oval on Saturday, October 13.
