ST. JOHN, ROSLYN
ANNUAL BAZAAR Tho animal bazaar and sale of work organised by the ladies of the parish of St. John, Roslyn, was opened this afternoon by the vicar (Ven. Archdeacon A. C. H. Button). The proceeds of the bazaar are being used to finance parish work, and the effort was well supported by parishioners and friends. Tho bazaar will be open afternoon and evening today and Wednesday, and there will be a short entertainment each evening. The stalls, and those in charge,, are as follows:—Afternoon Guild: Mesdames Buchler, Cookson, S. B. Smith, Ferry. Evening Guild: Misses Rackley and Chapman. Produce: Mesdames Buttle. Botting, Button. Flowers and plants: Mesdames Young, Bradley, and Robinson. Cakes: Mesdames Peters, Rolfe, Hughes. Sweets: Mrs Dawson and girls. Odds and ends: Mesdames Luscombe and Moodie. Christmas tree: Mesdames Bell and Basire. Tea rooms; Mesdames Chapman, Jenkin, and L. Smith. Ice cream; Mrs Howarth.
