Daily Intercession

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the proving of things not seen. And without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing unto Him; for he that Cometh unto God must believe that He is, and that He is rewarder of them that seek after Him.—(Hebrews xi.) We pray unto Thee, O God, for those by whom our tragic venture is sustained on land and sea and in the air. Give them the faith that by their endurance they shall roll back the tide of violence. Sy their steadfastness and sacrifice deliver our people and the tvorld from the desolation of the victory of our enemy. Protect them body and soul from all harm; may their dangers bring them into closer fellowship with Thee; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
