- <> MESSAGE FROM LORD PROVOST [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, September 30. The following reply has been received by the Prime Minister (Mr Fraser) from tho Lord Provost of Edinburgh (Mr Henry Steele), in acknowledgment of Mr Fraser’s cablegram notifying the safe arrival of the Scottish children:— “ Thanks for cablegram. We knew the Scottish children would receive a warm welcome from their kinsfolk in New Zealand. Cordial greetings from Edinburgh to your great Dominion.”
