WESTERN THRILLS
At times, * ‘ War Above the Timber Line,’ J. E. Grinstead’s now Western novel, takes the credulity of the reader. But in the main this “ Wild West Club ” selection is thrilling reading, with its full quota of gun-play and red-blooded action. It describes the effort of a rancher and his foreman to withstand the repeated onslaughts of a neighbouring nest of rustlers to oust him from his property “ above the timber line.” There are complications that add to the .enjovment of a good Western. Wijliam Collins published this novel.
