M'GOWN—SMALL.
The wedding w.as solemnised in the Waitahuna Presbyterian Church on September 4 of (Ronald, youngest son of Mr and Mrs John.M'Gown, of Tuapeka Mouth, and Joan, younger daughter of Mr W. H. Small and the late Mrs Small. The officiating minister was the Rev. F. W. Winton, of Lawrence, and Miss Vona Crane supplied the wedding music.
AI. S. AFCorkindale as host man. Tlie ushers were Messrs J. Small and J. AFGown. Alter the ceremony the guests adjourned to Brown’s Hall, where they •were received by Mesdames R. W. Kavanagh (sister of the bride) and I’. Murdoch (sister of the bridegroom). Tlie former wore a navy pin-tucked frock and hat to match, and carried a sheaf of red anemones. The latter was also in navy and carried spring flowers. The future homo of Mr and Mrs M'Gown will bo at Tuapeka Mouth.
