NEW GROUND TRIED OUT The Dunedin and D.S.A. Clubs held their usual weekly shoot in Brydone Hall on Thursday evening with a good muster. The Dunedin Club’s trophy shoot resulted in a win for D. Ryan (149), with P. Wheeler (129) runner-up. Other good scores were E. Davis 122, Mrs Massetti 119, Miss Miles 115, J. Gray and H. Miles 106, and R. Dunne 100. The Dunedin indoor open archery championship will be decided on October 10, and will consist of 30 arrows at 20yds on a 16in target, and 30 arrows at 30yds on a full target, A ladies’ championship will be decided at the same time. The Dunedin Club tried out its new ground in Jubilee Park over last weekend, and members are enthusiastic over it.
