OBITUARY

COMMANDER R. H. .RYAN, RJ. ✓ The death has occurred on active service of Commander Richard Hammersley Ryan, Royal Navy, As a lieutenant he served on the New Zealand station a few years ago on H.M. ships Diomede and Dunedin, and whilst here married Miss Margaret Livingstone, of Dunedin, a step-daughter of Mr A. E. M'Dougall. Commander Ryan served on. Mediterranean (Malta and Haifa) stations, then transferred to Bermuda and Newfoundland service. He was attached to the Admiralty in London at the time of his death.
