BRITISH CHILDREN ARRIVE

FIRST PARTY UNDER OFFICIAL SCHEME [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, September 27. The first party of British children to come under the official scheme for providing temporary homes in the dominions for British children from the danger areas has arrived safely. There are 89 altogether, accompanied by adult escorts. All were given a warm welcome, in which the Hon. W. E. Parry, who carried out the negotiations with the British Government, joined.
