SWIMMING
DUNEDIN CLUB The annual meeting of the Dunedin .Amateur Swimming Club was held last night. Mr D. C. Bannatyne occupied the chair. The annual report and balance sheet were adopted, several speakers congratulating the committee on the sound financial position of the club. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr E. Hi James; president, Mr D. C. Bannatyne; vice-presidents— Mr W. Ramsay and last year’s holders; club captain, Mr C. Ferguson; deputy captain, Mr H. Williams; women’s club captain, Miss G. Rix; deputy captain, Miss L. Phelan; committee—Mcsdames C. W. Ingram and J. Ferguson, and Messrs A. Baker, R, Knewstubb, and C. W. Ingram; handicapper and starter, Mr D. C. Bannatyne; delegates to centre—Messrs F. J. Hill, L? R. M’Tntosh, and A. Baker; medical officers. Drs S. Moore and Reed; delegates to Life Saving Society, Mr W. L. Hooper find Miss G. Rix; treasurer, Mr L. R. M'Tntosh; secretary, Miss A. Hill; assistant secretary, Mr C. W. Ingram.
