AIRCRAFT CONTRACTS
BIG CONTRACTS AWARDED WASHINGTON, September 25, (Received September 26. at 12.35 p.m.) The War Department has awarded contracts totalling 171,746,000d01 to four concerns for aircraft and aero engines. ARMY CASUALTIES LATEST WAR OFFICE LIST LONDON, September 25. (Received September 26, at 12.5 p.m.) The War Office’s forty-ninth casualty list gives the names of two officers and 52 men killed, one officer and 61 men wounded, and 16 officers and three men taken prisoner. Captain Sir Hilton Lawson is among the prisoners.
