SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES
CHARGE AGAINST TAXI DRIVER [Pee United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, September 25. William M'Cready, a taxi driver, who elected to be tried by a jury, was committed by the magistrate (Mr Goulding) to the Supreme Court for trial on a cnarge of having in his possession 50 copies of the ‘ People’s Voice,’ with a view to facilitating publication of a subversive statement. Bail was allowed.
