Daily Intercession
Bow down Thine car, O Lord,-and answer me, for I am poor and needy. Be merciful unto me, O Lord, for unto Thee do I cry all the day long. Rejoice the soul of Thy servant, for unto Thee, O Lord, do I lift up mysoul. For Thou, Lord, art, good, and ready to forgive, and plenteous in mercy ' unto all them that call upon Thee.—(Psalm 86; 1-5.)
Grant O God unto us as a nation and to us individually such penitence that wo may obtain Thy forgiveness and strength of purpose to seek and to do Thy will. Endue our King and all in places of leadership with guidance from on high: grant to our defenders courage and steadfastness in the day of battle, and at all times obedience to all that is gdod and pure. Grant victory to the right, and establish on this earth righteousness and peace: through Jesus Christ our Lord.
