What can wo do over the week-end? Why, heaps of things—treasure hunts, adventures, hikes, pioneering, cooking, wide games, swimming. What glorious possibilities these words conjure up. AVhen the open air calls, how can a real Scout ipossibly be willing to slack indoors or stow in some smoko or germ-laden atmosphere. A Scout should not waste time and opportunity to get out into open amidst all the mysteries of Nature. Have you never been awake in camp at dawn and heard the morning chorus of the birds and all tho multitude of sounds that mark the transition from night to day? What a magnificent opening to the day you have missed, or what a treat you have in store this coming summer. A Scout must he equipped for week-end Scouting. So look to your personal gear at once.
