NEW "FIVE-TRACK" A shoot was held on the Dunedin Gun Club's grounds at Green Island on Saturday afternoon in fair weather. The new live-track ” lay-out, which was used for the lirst time, proved very satisfactory. In the first match, a 15-bird handicap, possibles were scored by G. E. Turner (Ifiyds), all first barrels; E. P. Graham (18yds), 14 first barrels; tt. Bruce (12yds), 14 first barrels; and S. Goddes (14yds), 14 first barrels. They were followed by H. W. Brookes (14yds), 14; W. Fletcher (14yds) and J. Paterson (11yds), 13; 11. M‘Donald (19yds) and S. F. Aburn (13yds), 12; J K. Begg (12yds) and R. Graham (12yds), 11. E. P. Graham (19yds) and S. Geddes (14yds) again registered possibles in the second match, which was also a 15-bird handicap. E. P. Graham broke all his birds with the first barrel. The rest of the scores were as follows;—G. E. Turner (17yds) and R. Maxwell (12yds), 13; W. Morland (14yds), R. Bruce (13vds). and H. W. Brookes (14yds). 12; H. Fletcher (14yds), 11; R. M‘Donald (19yds) and S. F. Aburn (13vds), 10.
A doublo-riso match of five pair was won bv G. E. Turner (16yds), with eight breaks. Dr Groenslnde and R. M‘Donald tied for second place with seven breaks each. Mr W. It. Morland was the referee. ,
