PQ. SAVINGS BANK Deposits with' the Post Office Savings Bank during July totalled £2,489,389, compared with £2,304,747 in June. 1940, and £2,086,344 in July, 1939. Withdrawals amounted to £2,202,308, the comparative figures for June, 1940, and July, 1939, beiir- P.2.933,and £2,432,849 respectively. For the first seven months of the current vear deposits have amounted to £16,265,393, and withdrawals to, £15,018,225, leaving an excess of deposits of £1,247,168. Comparative figures for the corresponding period of 1939 were; Deposits, £15.503.450; withdrawals. £19.484,868; excess of withdrawals, £3,931,418.
