ANNUAL DISTRICT CONFERENCE The annual conference of the Otago Associated Churches of Christ was hold at the St. Andrew Street Church on Saturday, Mr R. G. Coats presiding. The election of officers resulted:— President, Mr C. Morrison; vice-presi-dent, Mr C- Smith; secretary, Mr A. M'Morran, jun. Mr L. R. Usmar, general secretary for New Zealand, was a guest at the conference. The evening session commenced with a song service, conducted by Mr E. Williams, of the Bible College. This session was set aside for spiritual teaching, The speakers were Mr W. J. M. Wilson and Pastor W. J). More, who took as their subjects the ‘ Doctrine of the Second Advent of Jesus.’ During the conference items wore rendered by Miss N. Wills (recitation), Mrs Edmonds and Mr W. H. M'Kenzio (vocal solos).
