PRIME MINISTER VISITS BRITAIN’S FRONT LINE.—Mr Winston Churchill paid a visit to Dover and Ramsgate where he inspected air raid damage and met local A.R.P. workers, the tact that there was an almost continuous air raid warning during his visit the Prime Minister carried on unperturbed. He saw an air battle in which two machines were shot down into the sea in front of him. At Ramsgate he proceeded to the famous Tunnels during a raid and was warmly cheered by townspeople taking cover. Mr Churchill wears a steel helmet, but his hard black “ John Bull" bowler is nearby.
