FORESTERS
The fortnightly meeting of Court AA’oodland’s Pride was hold in the court room on Monday evening, when all officers were present. The chief ranger, Sister H. AlTnnes, occupied tho chair. Invitations were received from the Druids’ order to a dance on September 18, and from Court Little John to its fifty-second anniversary social on October' 8. At the conclusion of the business an official visit was paid by Court Pride of Dunedin. The chief ranger welcomed the visitors, and P.C.R. Bro. Holmes presented to tiio court the waltzing shield, which had been won for the second time in succession. The remainder of the evening was spent in playing progressive euchre. Sister Brown and Bro, Alorrisou being the winners.
