PINE HILL TENNIS CLUB

The official opening of the above clnl took place on Saturday, when there waa an excellent attendance of members. Mr A. C, Notman (president) introduced the patron (Mr D. L. Ritchie;, who stated it was most gratifying to see such a large number of junior members present. Mr Ritchie then declared the season open, and Mr Notmaa called upon Mrs Ritchie to send down the first ball of the year. Two exhibition doubles matches were played by eight of the leading players of tha club. During the afternoon moving pictures of the proceedings were taken by Mr Ritchie.
