FRIDAY’S COMMUNITY SING
As its part in the queen carnival the Dunedin Community Sing Committee is devoting the proceeds of its sings to the funds of the Army Queen. Donations and ‘ cheerios ” for Friday’s sing may be sent to Mr J. F. Himburg at Begg’s. Miss Clara Rouse, winner of the ladies’ vocal scholarship at the Dunedin Competitions, will. present several numbers. Mr H. P. Desmoulins will be the loader and Mr Alf. Pettitt the pianist. A violin, case, and bow, a woman’s handbag, and a golf bag of solid leather will be offered for sale. The sing will lie bold in the Strand Theatre, commencing at noon. Miss Airini Greuncll will be present.
