Daily Intercession

Our Shield. Righteousness and judgment are the foundation of Thy throne: mercy and truth go before Thy face. Blessed is the nation that know the joyful sound. They walk, O Lord, in the light of Thy countenance, and in Thy righteousness are they exalted. For our shield helongeth unto the Lord. —(Psalm 89; 14-18.) We thank Thee for quietness and freedom to serve Thee as we desire. ‘ We thank Thee for the resolution of our people to preserve our heritage of honour and freedom. Be unto us—and especially to those of our kin in the Homeland—a tower of strength, a place of refuge, and a strong defence. Keep us calm and brave: let Thy mercy uphold and Thy grace guide us. May all our trust be in Thee: through Jesus Chrisf our Lord.
